I have been wondering if there might be a space for people interested in academia who are not "officially" or permanently affiliated with an institution.

I thought I might try to begin to gather together writing, ideas, art, from those people who want to engage, or reengage in work often seen to be reserved for those tied to the institutional life of post-secondary association or research employment.

Not peer review - but peer support.

No deadlines and demands - but space to write and read.

Not so much a blog space but an interactive open e-journal.
